DIY Well it’s coming into August my parents are off to Budapest on Thursday and are away for 2 months, they are biking up the Danube River all the way to Switzerland. While they are away I am doing up my son’s room, I have filled in all the holes with wall paste, and just have to sand them down and redo any of the holes that aren’t quite filled up, I am also re-wallpapering and fixing the gap in the floor between the carpet and the door ( my son has a deck off his room) the carpet had worn through so the carpet nails have come thru, I do have a mat over it at present but since I am also laying down carpet tiles ( foam backed for extra padding) I am going to fix the gap first before I get the carpet tiles. He wants a travel room as he is wanting to become a flight attendant, I have peel and stick wallpaper in white wood design, I bought an electric drill and screwdriver, I am adding a rod to the top of the sliding door for rod curtains, these are scenery curtains ( they have a pictu...
